George Noble, a 19-year-old Scottish immigrant, arrived in Australia in 1901 with an ambition of being successful and respected. By the time of his premature death in 1939, this ambition had been achieved. In the process he laid the foundations of a vibrant family company. His son Grant Noble carefully built on this foundation, encouraging others and enabling the company to prosper. After a century it has become a highly regarded specialist company as A. Noble & Son Ltd.
This book tells of the founding of a small family enterprise and its transformation into an Australian national company.
