Tales From The Mulga Pub

These are tales of a place far from the big smoke and the madding crowd, a land where the summer sun scorches and dust devils twist in mystic dance across the stone-scattered plain.
In wintertime the wind blows chill and at night a myriad stars are set like diamonds against a blackened sky where a guardian moon bathes the bush with mellow-toned light between dark and sombre shadows.
A land of fullness and a land of deprivation. Keeping body and soul together can be a gamble, the rains may come or the rains may fail. Men and women are drawn together by the challenge of the countryside, to be close to nature and one another.
