Sowing the Seeds The Bahá’í Faith in South Australia 1923-1963
Compiled by Iolee Erica Mann
Sowing the Seeds is the culmination of research made on the first 40 years of the Bahá’i Faith that was established in South Australia from 1923.
Clara and John Henry Hyde Dunn responded to the call of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá through his revelation of The Tablets of the Divine Plan to the American Bahá’is. This was a plan for a Spiritual Divine Civilization for the whole world.
They came to South Australia in 1923 and taught the Faith, the concept
of the oneness of humanity, through their ‘sowing of seeds’.
Sow ye a pure seed - so that ’ere long an opulent harvest maybe reaped.
This compilation consists of names and details of believers who accepted
the Faith in those years and some of the activities and growth of the
Bahá’i Faith in South Australia.
