Prime Minister Tom Harter has just won the Federal Election. He immediately sets out to build a ‘bigger, better, bolder’ Australia, but faces obstacles including a grants scandal, oil spill, drought, citizenship saga, bogong moth plague and a Premier who won’t return his calls.
His colleagues aren’t much help: his Foreign Affairs Minister is absent, Environment Minister negligent, and Deputy Prime Minister recalcitrant and intent on embarrassing him.
As Harter announces a series of controversial policies, journalists Hannah Case and Mike Russo debate his every move on television and around the Senate coffee cart while his Chief of Staff struggles to rein him in.
Can the Prime Minister achieve his first term objectives and keep his colleagues’ own leadership ambitions at bay?
