Ann Wyndham, “Annie” to her art friends, is Adelaide-born, a pre-school teacher by profession. Children and their creativity have given her much to enjoy.
From childhood, she has continued to create by writing and painting. She studied with an American poet, Dan DeFrank who inspired her to write with insight into the world around her.
Artists who have inspired Ann include Ruth Tuck, Polly Hammett, Glenn Bradshaw, Alex Powers, Jane Jones and Gerald Brommer.
Ann continues to paint and write, honouring those who cannot speak for themselves: animals, the homeless and women and children of all races who are so often treated with disrespect and abuse.
