How to load PDF presets into InDesign
Choose File > Adobe PDF Presets > Define.
Click Load and select the ‘Peacock PDFXa2001.joboptions’ file.
The Peacock PDFXa2001.joboptions file is copied to the Settings folder where new PDF presets are stored.

Adobe InDesign v 7 (CS5) supply all fonts & graphics
Adobe Illustrator v 15 (CS5) convert all fonts to outline
Macromedia Freehand v11 convert all fonts to paths & supply all graphics
Adobe Photoshop v 12 (CS5) supply all fonts
Quark Express v 6.0 supply all fonts & graphics

Designs and layouts created in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint or Microsoft Publisher are not acceptable, and will be recreated by us in an appropriate program at your cost.

Microsoft Word is only to be used for text purposes. Do not embed logos or graphics in a document — supply them separately.

Scanning Resolution

We recommend to scan at least at 100%
Colour Images 300dpi
Greyscale Images 300dpi
Line Art 600dpi

Artwork Layout

Each artwork file should be done to the correct page size.
eg: 90mm x 55mm card should be in a 90mm x 55mm document with 3mm bleed.

Fonts

It is the responsibility of the artwork supplier that all fonts are properly licensed.
You can, however, convert any font to paths/outlines whenever possible to avoid any problems.

Colour Separations

Colours should always be specified in either 4-colour process or
Pantone® Matching System.
When supplying a 4-colour process job, please ensure spot colours are converted to process. RGB colours are not acceptable. Photoshop files cannot separate spot colours unless they are mono/duo/tri/quadtones.

Transport Media

All artwork supplied on disk must be accompanied by a proof.
We can accept the following transport media:

Proofing

Please supply a final colour or a B/W proof with your artwork, ensuring that it is exactly as supplied on disk. A low-res pdf proof will be emailed to you for final approval.
Digital proofs will be supplied upon your request. Please outline on your quote request or purchase order if you wish to view a proof before production.
